Lots of small employee appreciation events that help break up the day.
Clean, open office.
Great 401k plan.
Newer policies essentially discourage personal relationships of any type. Any behavior that is not 'workplace appropriate' is also banned at any social event, no matter how unrelated to work. This generates an uptight culture and is not great for those of us who move here and plan to make friends at work.
Create a respectable 'safe workplace' policy that doesn't attempt to completely control employees outside of work functions.
