There is no diversity and very little support for newcomers to transition to their role. They are decreasing team sizes, yet the responsibilities are the same. Expectations overextend from the role of a software engineer as team size is small. It's hard to find support and room for growth.
Hire more people for the right role and ensure there is more leadership in teams. Hold managers accountable for enhancing team culture, collaboration, diversity, and inclusion. Don't shrink team size and expect the same output.
