Two ML Infra engineers joined the call. The question was long-winded and didn't assess frontend skills.
Both interviewers appeared to have very little frontend knowledge.
Even towards the end, when they allowed me to ask questions, I asked about the "front-end stack."
One told me that he couldn't answer. The other told me he thinks it's this and that.
The question is not complex from a DS/Algo perspective, but the setup of inputs and etc. is time-consuming. It also seems like they are not matching Frontend Engineers who applied to Frontend positions with Frontend Interviewers. The question has nothing to do with frontend either.
