Pros: The people that I worked with at Figma were all so amazing! Figma has a really great, tight-knit culture of supportive, kind, humble, and smart individuals. I felt very included and welcomed as part of the team. I also loved the fact that I was integrated as part of the team and worked on projects that were actually in the team's roadmap. The things that I worked on didn't feel like an "intern project". It was really cool to be able to ship some high-impact features!

Cons: Honestly, I really enjoyed my time at Figma and can't think of anything negative or constructive to say about it.

Pros: Pay is very competitive. Feels like the company is on the cutting edge to stay profitable and competitive as a business. Reasonable work culture and supportive management. Even with the issues listed in cons, have had conversations with reporting chain about personal needs and values without retaliation.

Cons: Can be intense. Product teams expect long hours leading up to launches, and those who worked long hours are then praised for it. Many managers and leaders are obviously workaholics, which sets a tone, even if they claim it's not expected of others. Execs micromanage projects they're interested in. This leads to a high quality bar but a lot of last-minute rework, and lower autonomy for those teams.
