Byteboard online assessment, then an onsite with 3 different interviews:
- 1 technical design interview
- 2 coding interviews
The last round is a 30-minute engineering values call with the hiring manager. Generally pretty responsive and organized. Enjoyed the unique and holistic nature of the interview questions.
Questions
These questions are a bit unique in that they give you a whole class structure and then have you implement certain functions for the class, which I enjoyed.
Mostly typical data structures, some algorithms.

Pros: Pay is very competitive.
Feels like the company is on the cutting edge to stay profitable and competitive as a business.
Reasonable work culture and supportive management. Even with the issues listed in cons, have had conversations with reporting chain about personal needs and values without retaliation.
Cons: Can be intense. Product teams expect long hours leading up to launches, and those who worked long hours are then praised for it. Many managers and leaders are obviously workaholics, which sets a tone, even if they claim it's not expected of others.
Execs micromanage projects they're interested in. This leads to a high quality bar but a lot of last-minute rework, and lower autonomy for those teams.

Pros: An inclusive, collaborative environment.
A strong attention to product detail.
Really interesting technical stack and problems, even on the product side.
Great holidays, PTO, and remote flexibility.
Cons: Changing targets and not a lot of transparency from executives. Heavy workloads close to deadlines. Hard to get promotions.
