The people are by far the highest quality out of people from any company I've worked with. On average, the technical strength is significantly better than, e.g., Google engineers, and the sheer empathy, understanding, and friendliness of people is somewhat unmatched at any other company.
Work/life balance is outstanding for a startup. There is no pressure to work extra hours.
Management is very experienced and empathetic.
Culture is extremely inclusive and diverse. It feels like management genuinely cares about making people feel welcome and included with their coworkers.
Work is extremely high-impact. The work feels like it is affecting the company as a whole.
Personal growth rate is very fast. Because of the amount of ownership you get, you naturally pick up skills from everywhere in the company.
There is very little politics and bureaucracy due to the size of the company. There is very low overhead to making a genuine impact.
Company trajectory is very positive. It feels like we are becoming the leader in the UI/UX design software market space.
I hope we can preserve the company culture as it grows. I think as a company gets bigger, it becomes exponentially harder for people to be fully satisfied with how it operates.
The interview process starts with a recruiter call, followed by a technical assessment over Zoom, a hiring manager interview, and finally an onsite visit. It was a fairly straightforward process, and everyone was friendly. I recommend studying a bit
I had a virtual onsite interview with multiple rounds. I was asked to leave the meeting immediately because they made a mistake and invited me by accident; the interview was for another person. This was a very bad experience, as I spent quite a lot
HR initial call. Technical phone interview: * 1 (coding, LeetCode medium, with follow-up). Then virtual onsite: * Coding * 2 (equivalent to LeetCode array tag) * System design * 1 * Behavioral questions * 1 * Deep dive * 1
