I've been working on very interesting engineering challenges. The company is small enough so that you can have a big impact, and there are a lot of important things to build and improve on. Yet, the company has proven to be successful, has already many paying clients, and users love it!
On the people side, everyone is very smart, friendly, and authentic. The response to the COVID crisis is great; they are totally understanding that this is not business as usual and provided a lot of support with no pressure.
Work-life balance is very important for me since I have a kid, and I don't want to be working late often or during weekends. Even though there's so much to do, I don't feel pressured to be working extra.
The leadership is also great, very approachable, and very human.
In short, I'm very happy I chose to work for Figma! (and I had 7 offers to choose from
)I really can't think of any cons!
The interview process starts with a recruiter call, followed by a technical assessment over Zoom, a hiring manager interview, and finally an onsite visit. It was a fairly straightforward process, and everyone was friendly. I recommend studying a bit
I had a virtual onsite interview with multiple rounds. I was asked to leave the meeting immediately because they made a mistake and invited me by accident; the interview was for another person. This was a very bad experience, as I spent quite a lot
HR initial call. Technical phone interview: * 1 (coding, LeetCode medium, with follow-up). Then virtual onsite: * Coding * 2 (equivalent to LeetCode array tag) * System design * 1 * Behavioral questions * 1 * Deep dive * 1
