Process

In the first part of the interview, the interviewer provides information about the company and the position.

In the second part, the interviewee explains and describes his experience and what he is looking for in a job. The interviewer asks questions about the interviewee's experience and his interests.

Then, you take a short test with several questions.

The interviewer explains that the test is not designed to reject a candidate but to classify their level.

After the candidate completes the test, the interviewer and the candidate go over the answers.

The bad experience that I went through:

After answering the test questions correctly (according to the interviewer), the interviewer talked to me about the company's progress, the increase in staff, and the division into small teams, suggesting I could be a good match there.

Then, the interviewer said the next step was the HR interview and payroll offering, and that progress would be fast.

Needless to say, despite the interview going great, I did not pass the next stages.

I was not even told why when I asked.

I can only assume it was because I am married (a woman).

Questions

  1. What is the difference between a Set and an Array?

  2. What are the differences between stateful and stateless processes?

  3. What's new in HTTP/2?

  4. Out of a population, 65 percent get news from TV and 40 percent from the newspaper. 25 percent receive both. What percentage do not get news from anywhere at all?

  5. We want to bring your system to a certain counter number of hits. This page is accessed from 10 different servers. You have a piece of code a programmer wrote and need to find the problem there.

  • There is no shared memory segment to update the counter.
  • There is no thread for this memory management and synchronization between servers.
  1. The question of finding a bug in the code: System: A large part of users deleted all permissions. At the following code, the programmer wrote code that is not good enough. What is wrong in the code? Instead of holding a list of users with no privileges, the programmer makes an SQL retrieval and limits the retrieval to the individual user rather than a list.
