Applied online, followed by a call with a recruiter to understand motivation and past experience. This was succeeded by a HackerRank test and a coding test with a senior engineer on Google Hangouts. The question focused on problem-solving, discussing complexity, and devising an optimal solution.

The phone screen/code pairing with the engineer was done on Hackerrank. The question was a page wide and it took some time to read it. Phone screen questions are supposed to be short and precise.
