The recruiter and all interviewers were very friendly, and the questions were appropriate to the field.

I highly recommend Fivetran because:

• The culture is great.
• The people are super-friendly and easy-going.
• The commute doesn't require BART (HQ in downtown Oakland).

Furthermore, Fivetran is hiring in the middle of the Corona crisis, which is a strong sign.

My favorite question was to design an ETL system that transfers data from a SQL DB to another DB system. This put me in the right mindset of what Fivetran is working on and what challenges there are.
