The interview process was very cookie-cutter, with no personal investment from any of the interviewers. They had no specific role or group they were interviewing for, which is not a good sign.
The process included a recruiter call, followed by a generic take-home exam with a one-week deadline. Then, a tech screen was conducted with another data insights engineer. As another interviewee mentioned, my interviewer was very dispassionate, simply following the company's interview process and "doing his job." They also heavily advertised this as a data science job, but all the questions asked were query-based, from the take-home to the tech screen questions.
Very disappointing interview process.
Take-home exam: Some internal data on patients and some query-based questions.
Tech screen: Hypothetical tables of a database belonging to places like Grubhub/Seamless, etc., and again, query-based questions. The interviewer was looking for exact answers and not ready to accept creative thinking or alternate solutions.
