Lead Software Engineer In Test (.NET) Interview Experience - United States

August 7, 2015
Negative ExperienceGot Offer

Process

I went through four phone interviews and three coding challenges using Codility.com. Later, I went to a five-interview round in NYC. I declined the offer because the position was for NYC only. They are not transparent in their recruiting process. The interviews and overall experience were quite enjoyable, but they made me go to NYC, spend two vacation days, plus multiple calls, to later tell me that if I wanted the job, I had to move to NYC.

Questions

Fibonacci, data structures, and typical questions that can be found online to determine your coding skills level. They also asked deeply into test experience, techniques, and tools to assess if I really know the discipline.
