- Like the rest of the tech industry, there are cuts being made to budget, and it is really thinning our productivity.
- Everyone is on edge about possible layoffs.
- Reorgs happen frequently.
- Some people on teams are on-call constantly, fueling burnout.
Things are looking downhill in terms of employment satisfaction. The business works, but employees are being more demotivated as we continue to cut budgets. Some toxic behaviors from leadership exasperate the lack of motivation while using the "we can possibly lose lives" verbiage against already burnt-out employees.
