Toxic culture. Collaboration is really just playing a game of telephone most times. The company can’t seem to plan for and execute on longer-term plans; individuals are more incentivized to chase quick short-term wins, sometimes at the cost of longer-term success and sustainability.
A lot of senior leadership members have worked here for too long and were promoted from ICs due to tenure, yet they don’t have any leadership experience or know what a healthy org even looks like elsewhere.
Hire more competent and experienced professionals externally. The culture needs to change. Listen to the people who still care.
