Toxic culture. Collaboration is really just playing a game of telephone most times. The company can’t seem to plan for and execute on longer term plans, individuals are more incentivized to chase quick short terms wins and sometimes at the cost of longer term success and sustainability.
A lot of senior leadership members worked here for too long and were promoted from ICs due to tenure that just don’t have any leadership experience or know what a healthy org even looks like elsewhere.
Hire more competent and experienced professionals externally, the culture needs to change. Listen to the people who still care.
I had an online assessment first after applying. After I passed it, there was a pair programming session with one of their engineers. The online assessment was more difficult; the pair programming was more practical.
A very long and weird process. You do all the interviews together, and then you get the results at the end. You might not get hired because of the feedback from any interview, but you still do all of them. I find that such a waste of time.
