Decisions are top down, and the deadlines are never based on engineering input. Everyone is treated as hostile.

I wasn’t at Flexport long, but I witnessed multiple instances of people getting yelled at and belittled in meetings.

Compensation is low, and equity is a joke. They will inflate their own valuation and try to make it seem reasonable.

Everybody I worked with seemed burned out and unhappy. Good engineers who can find other work are leaving in droves.

I was regularly the only woman in 25+ person meetings.

I saw another manager get yelled at until he agreed to put his entire engineering team on 24-hour availability indefinitely, after they had already been in the office until 2 AM the day before.

Maybe remove all execs and start again.
