Process

Interview over WebEx with Manager, Analytics Solutions and Software Architect.

One-hour interview with a lot of questions about Web Development. Google the top 50 interview questions for Js/Ajax/JQuery, and you'll get those.

One coding problem with half an hour to write an optimal solution. String manipulation, basic.

Disappointed in the interview process. They didn't have the courtesy to inform me of their decision, despite my attempts to follow up multiple times. My interview might not have been good, but a courtesy email with their decision would've been nicer.

It's sad that there are still companies out there that don't even respect candidates' time and interest enough to get back or at least reply to one of the follow-up emails to say they went ahead with another candidate.

Questions

Sorted Array: find the index i such that i = Array[i].

  • Inheritance vs. Composition
  • Normalization in DB: Outer vs. Inner Join
  • Top 50 AJAX questions
  • Ways to send data from client to server
  • Two AJAX requests at the same time
