Applied on Ford's site and got a call the next day for an interview. The interview was a Webex call with the hiring manager. It was a pair programming challenge using TDD. I struggled with TDD when trying to think in very simple, small steps. I kept thinking of the solution and solving that, rather than taking it piece by piece. The engineering manager gave me instant feedback at the end of the call and was extremely professional. He gave me sound advice. I didn't get an offer, but I still had a very positive experience.
