Pros: - Amazing knowledge transfer, their internal wiki system is amazing. - Great people to work with; they are professional. - Great technology and opportunity to learn. - Great opportunity to experiment with new solutions. - Ford's Ottawa offices are great, even the older one.

Cons: - Return to work policy, even for people who work on a PC 100% and don't need to be in the office. - Regular annual layoffs, even when the economy is good, of both contractors and full-timers. No job security. - Ford employs a strict corporate no-rehire policy imposed from the top. So even if you get laid off on good terms for reasons outside of your control (Ford's financials), there's no way back. - Ford products have been growing increasingly anti-consumer in the past decade. If you are a car person, working on vehicles that are made to be discarded in 10 years will be slowly eating you from inside.

Pros: Good technology stacks and team members are helpful and ready to assist. Good communication with the manager is also beneficial.
