Validation Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

Started with the online portion, applying for several jobs and taking the online assessments.

Got a call a couple weeks later for a product engineering position, asking if I met the qualifications on the job description.

Waited 3 months and got an invitation for an interview for a validation position that was completely different from the call.

  • In Dearborn, you get put in a room with about 10 other people and do a brief overview. Afterwards, everyone is taken to a cube farm and brought to the interviewers.
  • The interview was 2 sets of 5 questions. The first set was specific to the job. The second was more about the work environment.
  • All questions were broad, "tell me about a time." Some even overlapped with earlier questions.
  • The interviewers were awesome, knew they were broad, and kept the conversation moving in the direction they were looking for.
