Fast learning.
Good network of contacts.
Above-average benefits.
Decent, but not exceptional, salaries.
Contact with people from all over the world.
Relatively flexible hours.
Relatively human supervisors and managers.
Very healthy work environment. Lots of camaraderie and mutual help.
Very bad location in Mexico.
The competitive advantages were lost in 2025. Previously, there was one day of remote work compared to the USA which had 0. Previously, there was a clothing and stationery bonus. Previously, there was flexibility for hybrid and remote attendance. Previously, it was not mandatory to assign a bad rating to a percentage of the teams.
By contract, they "provide parking". What they don't tell you is that you have to go park at "Galerías Atizapán" and an unsafe and unpunctual shuttle takes you to and from the building, adding at least 30 minutes to an already long commute.
We were congratulated on how people work remotely, and many people moved to other states. But overnight, written and verbal agreements for people to work 100% remotely and hundreds of kilometers away were lost.
Previously, there were no threats of losing one's job for being sick and not attending.
The competitive advantages that Ford de México sold when hiring are "lifestyle", but that "lifestyle" is being lost. You have to go to work with the flu and diarrhea, or you get an email threatening job loss for not attending the 4 days a week. They threaten job loss even for taking legal vacation days. You have to enter a "clarification" into the system that you took vacation.
Ford de México is making very foolish decisions and good people are going elsewhere.
Worst Interview I've Ever Had In my process of looking for a new position in this sector, this has been the worst interview I have had. The interviewers were so arrogant and cocky. I have been in a few interviews with other small and medium companie
The interview with HR was very easy. After passing that filter, I had to do the interview with the supervisor, which was a bit difficult for me. Some questions were theoretical and about my experience.
I only had two interviews. The first was with Human Resources via message, where they told me about the position, salary expectations, and the process. From there, a technical test that unfortunately I could not complete successfully.
