Big Company, Outdated Culture
Pay is good for the location. Depending on what department you are in, projects can be engaging. It's a big company with job security. If you work just a little hard, then you'll be above average.
Not a culture or environment for young people unless they are a die-hard Ford fan, super loyal, and just want to work at Ford. The company isn't competitive in retaining young people or in having a positive working culture. It no longer lives by the "One Ford" motto that it used to. There is huge turnover for 50% of young people.
It is really hard to leave a department that you work in, even if you find another department that you love and they want to take you.
Trying to make Ford competitive with other tech and manufacturing companies, but not soon enough or urgent enough.
