It's a great company to start your career at. Regardless of how the automotive industry is going, it is a well-respected company all over the world. Other companies truly respect Ford's talent. (Unfortunately, there are so many Ford workers looking for work, other companies are being overwhelmed with resumes!)
The major downside is the work environment. There have been so many waves of layoffs; that's all people think about. It's terrible working around a bunch of people who are concerned about losing their jobs.
