Pros

The vast majority of people here are conscientious, cooperative, friendly, and smart. The work is challenging, while (for most of us) not so much as to be a stress burden.

Cons

Because Ford no longer makes all of its components, obtaining consistent quality between suppliers can be a time-consuming effort.

Lab space for evaluating the quality of production parts can be difficult, requiring over-reliance on supplier evaluations.

Purchasing small items for measuring component quality is difficult and sometimes impossible due to company procedures and requirements.

Advice to Management

Provide a way to make small purchases quickly, such as a corporate credit card. Provide more support for quality evaluations at Ford facilities, in terms of both space and funding.
