Cons

Will cut you in a heartbeat, no matter how well you perform. They do not attempt to find you a similar role within the company.

They will cut you and rehire replacements, culling the herd. They do not value culture. They preach it, but it's not real.

Their leadership is erratic and impulsive with very little vision. They don't lead; they react.

Bill Ford Jr. doesn't have control of his company, or he'd never let his 'family' get treated this way.

Advice to Management

Before you start cutting people, task HR to find your 'family' a role within the company. It's terribly frustrating to look for work and come across your same position being offered to you by a headhunter.
