The constant risk of being let go, supposedly overstaffed, constant churn in management, constant churn in re-organizations, constant churn in processes and methodologies, constant management churn, and constant supervisor churn.

Get a grip on the market conditions before they occur. Be proactive rather than reactive. Keep some constants so as not to continually disrupt the product development process. Stop engineering changes after the engineering change cut-off.
