Pros

Good pay, generally a good work environment. Like any company, some managers are better than others.

Cons

Top execs want to change. Young people at the bottom are excited about the rhetoric of change. Old-time managers in the middle are holding the line on what got them in their positions in the first place.

Advice to Management

Unless you can change the hearts and minds of the middle of the organization, nothing is going to change. It's still a matter of protecting their turf and treating people like they'll never leave Ford that will get in the way of competing with the likes of Tesla. This is why 100-year-old companies go extinct during market disruption.
