The workload is fair, and there's a lot of support if you need help using software tools.
If you start as a contractor, the chances are you will stay one with Ford.
There are lots of double standards. Promotion goes to the wrong people, always just because they are on the good side of management.
They will end contracts with no notice, even if you had good reviews and you do a good job.
They treat their contractors horribly. They won't even allow them to join department meetings.
They are not allowed to work from home, even though their policy says otherwise.
So, if you are a contractor and live in Michigan, expect a good cut in winter just because you can't make it to work due to weather conditions.
My advice to job seekers: Don't come here unless you have a direct offer.
Try to treat your contract workers better because they are the ones who get the job done!
It was easy and fast. They didn’t ask too much and there were three interviews. The questions asked were pretty basic, all over Zoom. I didn’t accept the offer though. It seems good for a new grad.
I had around 2 to 3 rounds. I had a coding round, one hiring manager round, and one with the team. (The hiring manager and team can interview together as well). It was an online interview. The team and manager asked a mix of coding and questions b
The interview process was smooth and well-guided. The questions were about DBMS, OOPS, Software Testing, RDBMS, API, and also logical reasoning. The coding questions were at an easy level, and the one given to me was for reverse testing.
