You will not get the performance bonus (variable pay) fully, only 50%. This is the same for all throughout the organization, irrespective of the effort you put in for projects.

Huge amounts are allocated in variable pay from CTC as per company policies.

No cab facilities; even during the pandemic, you should come on your own.

Ford Smart Mobility is not generating any revenue, so don't join if your entity is Ford Smart Mobility. You will get less hike, only 5-6%, even if you are a top-rated performer.

Architects are not technically strong. They will accept whatever upper management asks them to do and push us to stretch.

Ford Smart Mobility is not a product company; they are doing services for Chennai Metro, Office Ride, etc.

No onsite opportunities; all are Chennai city projects.

Poor work-life balance; you will be working on two projects at a time.

Leads will call you at midnight to fix issues.

No allowance for weekend support.

Advice to Management

Rate an employee on his/her technical skill and performance, not simply by taking the words of leads.
