Pros

Good work-life balance. Nice pay and benefits.

Cons

Full-time pair programming (you have to be on call daily for 7+ hours).

Working in pairs is the worst thing. You have to share your screen and code continuously. It feels constraining to me, and I'm not sure how I can grow with someone constantly looking over my shoulder.

One computer shared for two people makes you go crazy after a while.

Working in pair programming limits your ability to think and develop. It's very difficult to be on call daily for 7+ hours.

Very little (only 10%) development work.
