- Good engineers are committed to quality code.
- Work/life balance is clearly a priority.
- Management is reasonably accessible.
- Dizzying amount of hierarchy. Many companies have this, but Ford reminds you of it constantly with its internal structure.
- Hope you like Detroit. The company has been flexible with COVID, but it's unclear how long that will remain the case. Other location options are extremely limited (Palo Alto, mostly for research-oriented positions).
- Signing bonus for new grads based on your school's U.S. News and World Report ranking. Top 20 is not necessarily high enough for a bonus. This is verbatim from my recruiter. I wish I was joking.
