Lots of room to grow. Co-workers are there to help you. You gain lots of experience working in a big company. Intern coordinators are great at putting on events for interns. The paid housing is a very nice benefit for just being an intern.
Sometimes you might not have something to do. It can be a bit slow at first.
Make sure that an intern has enough work to do. There are already great feedback routes in place. I was on a group that talked to Jeff Lemmer about the internship.
