Pros

Even as an office worker, you get some good company holidays due to UAW. The work-life balance on most teams is pretty good as well.

Cons

Switching to having more people in the office, even for teams where it doesn't help and actively makes things harder, is a problem. This is because there is no set location for many teams.

Contract workers get the short end of the stick when it comes to time off and compensation, and Ford loves to use tons of contract workers.

Advice to Management

Start actually offering paths forward from contract to full hire, as many people are pitched that by recruiters.
