Cloud DevOps Engineer Interview Experience - Burnaby, Canada

September 1, 2018
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Phone screen, then technical test, then an in-person interview, which turns out to be another technical test. This test was conducted by people who:

  • Don’t interview often.
  • Don’t communicate well.
  • Don’t know the questions they’ll be asking.
  • Don’t give you feedback.

It’s very difficult to pass when it seems like the interview is designed for you to fail and they don’t know what they’re doing. Also, what is the purpose of a technical interview done after a technical test that a candidate has passed? They didn’t ask any general HR questions or any questions about the products or company that the recruiter said I should prepare for.

Questions

Write code for the problem.

What is the column name from the output of the ps command that shows IOPS, and what flag, if any, shows this output?
