Pros: Since joining Fortinet at the end of June, I’ve been genuinely impressed by the company’s professionalism and strong engineering culture. Teams collaborate efficiently, communication is clear, and execution is highly disciplined. What I appreciate most is my manager’s truth-seeking attitude. Whenever an issue arises, he focuses on identifying the real root cause and finding the right long-term solution, rather than covering up problems or chasing superficial results. This level of integrity and technical rigor is very different from some of my past experiences, where management was more concerned with presenting good outcomes than addressing underlying risks or code quality. My manager and colleagues demonstrate deep expertise and strong leadership, and I’ve already gained valuable hands-on experience in systems, networking, and security. The environment truly encourages continuous learning and high-quality engineering work. I’m proud to be part of Fortinet and look forward to growing together with the team.

Cons: Not too clear so far.

Pros: If you are not very smart, you can fail upward or do some real politicking.

Cons: If you have half a brain, you can see that the engineering is at best mediocre. While the word `meritocracy` is thrown around a lot, your own merit will get you nowhere. You'll hear a lot of excuses about how nothing can be done because it's just the way it has always been done.

Pros: You have a job, and you got paid.

Cons: 1. Long working hours and low pay. 2. The supervisor constantly engages in emotional manipulation. 3. Although WFH is allowed twice a week, the supervisor keeps pressuring employees to come to the office every day.
