Pros

Great opportunity to learn cutting-edge technologies/products in network security.

Great social opportunities with some of the best hackers in the world.

Well-maintained and organized interests clubs.

Very good healthcare insurance package.

Free OT dinner (nice to have, but... see cons).

Some of the smartest and nicest co-workers to work with.

Great engineer culture.

Cons

The office environment needs to be improved, as some facilities are outdated.

Some particular teams are mismanaged and very hard to work with (although some teams are great).

There is no free parking.

OT (Overtime) dinner really needs to improve in quality and increase in budget, as people stay later for important work and deserve a nice meal to relieve the pressure.

Salaries for testers and QA are not very competitive compared to other dev positions.

Advice to Management
  • Should not promote people to manager only based on their seniority and technical knowledge. Leadership and people skills are also important and should be considered.
