Pros

Nobody will tell you anything if you're a chill worker and don't want any growth or appraisal.

Cons

There will be no motivation for your work.

Repetitive work. After the first year, you will feel that there is no motivation to give your best, from the knowledge or salary side, because no knowledge is gained in repetitive work and no increment. Although you will get demotivated because your junior will get a higher salary.

So, it will be like after 2 or 3 years you will be getting the same salary as a new grad working at a junior position.

You will be disheartened because a Chinese colleague from your team will get a raise as well as a position, even if he/she is not a performer.

Talking to your manager will not change anything because your manager will give you the excuse that in the middle of the year there will be no promotion, but silently give a promotion to your Chinese colleague.

They started a new trend to show liberals they are hiring Sikh guys with turbans and putting other cultural people, one or two in each team.

They are okay to give you a salary match when you are moving to another company. Such a pity.

Fortinet is so cheap; they will not give you promotion or appraisal to their employees when they are working, but yes, when an employee is fed up and moving, then they are okay to give double salary.

Advice to Management

Bring balance to the salaries of senior and junior employees.

Start a shadow system if someone wants to learn anything. They can shadow other team members on any project, just like EY does.

Stop judging an employee solely on the basis of bugs.
