I was invited for a phone interview that lasted about 50 minutes. The interviewer was highly professional and friendly. The whole process bordered on behavioral and technical questions. I was invited for a second interview (face to face) that went pretty well. My third and final interview was over the phone.

Pros: Lot of projects. GE has clout; they are able to get projects. You would not sit idle.
Cons: Too many managers at GE, and the company's strategy changes every year. A technical company should be led by managers who have also worked as technical persons. This is not the case. Everything is driven by the share market. There is too much emphasis on short-term gains.
