Manufacturing Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

It was a long process but quick. The initial interview (phone screening) was with a recruiter, and it was just some basic questions about my interest in the position. The second interview was with two hiring managers, and the final one was with a team of 6 people (potential co-workers).

Most of the interview questions were situational questions. I recommend you familiarize yourself with a lot of situational questions and try to link them to any related experience you had.

Try to be realistic as much as possible because each question you answer might lead to another.

Questions

  1. Tell me about a time you made a mistake and what you learned from it.
  2. If you could change anything, what would it be and why?
  3. Tell me how you will go about learning more about the company and working effectively with your co-workers.
  4. Tell me about a time you had to deliver bad news to your boss.
