Process

Started off with one HR, three technical interviews over the phone, followed by one coding test over the phone. Finally, an in-person interview lasted for five hours. Two of those hours were coding interviews, and they weren't clear on what they wanted me to code. When I asked more about the question, the interviewer became upset.

After the long interviews, I spoke with the hiring manager and director, who were nice to talk to.

The interviewers were trying to show that they were smarter than you.

After a week, I received an email stating they would like to bring me in for another two hours of coding tests. The reasoning given was, "Some of the coding/technical interviews came back with conflicting feedback." Really, after so many interviews?

I declined the interview and am removing GE from my list of companies to work for.
