Process
I had initially applied for a different position. When the hiring manager saw my resume, he asked that I apply for a similar role he also had, as the original was being filled internally. I interviewed with the hiring manager (chief engineer) and the CTO via phone over a couple of days. I was then called by HR and discussed salary and relocation. I arrived three weeks later to interview on site. The hiring manager presented me an offer before I left the building.
