The company is slow to move. Bureaucracy will slow and often halt your work. It feels like lots of people are there to climb the corporate ladder and are not very focused on or passionate about innovative engineering solutions.
There are so many layers in the organization, I'm not even sure who to give advice to. My direct manager is very understanding and has been a good mentor. Beyond him, I think the company is so focused on short-term profit that it's detrimental to its future. Probably just a consequence of being such a large corporation.
