Pros

GE offered great training, including both on-the-job training as well as a generous tuition reimbursement program.

Cons

In a large company, you often must go through several levels of management to do things that might be out of the ordinary.

Advice to Management

Focus more on operations-level quality improvement, like the Japanese countries do. Six Sigma is great but doesn't do much for the average worker and focuses more on GE's products and services.
