Pros

Good place to learn (slow pace). Good campus.

Learn in and out of locomotives. Sometimes you might get a chance to go onsite and perform testing on real locomotives.

Cons

No tools for testing; need to rely on printf statements.

People who worked for years couldn't bring in new ideas to work; they rather followed traditional ways.

No tools to measure employee efficiency or productivity; would rather rely on English words to merely rate your performance.

Lots of process and politics, backstabbing.

Advice to Management

360-degree feedback should be brought in to evaluate employees' performance.

Tools to evaluate productivity, efficiency, performance, and the metrics should drive goals year-on-year.

Management is not willing to look into future technologies and evaluate them.
