Pros

Good benefits. The company promotes teamwork and an equal opportunity for all employees. There is a sense of safety within all companies.

Cons

Obviously a large company, with enormous websites that are confusing and complex.

Work processes take an abnormally long time to complete.

There are too many meetings.

From the beginning, they have been slowly infusing their corporate employees into the company.

What is left is a company without any domain knowledge.

Advice to Management

With an oil and gas company, it is not possible to know a particular job in 2 years. I would have thought that you buy a company because you see value in it, not to suck a company in and mess it up so badly that it is totally unrecognizable and to drag its good name through the mud to where it produces nothing.
