Pros

Plenty of opportunities for the ambitious professional.

Overall, a good compensation package.

Lots of locations and businesses to choose from.

Great development for young leaders, from top development programs to a wide variety of training.

Cons

Mileage may vary depending on business, site, function, and product line. Lots of leadership changes can mean instability for professionals, with constant barriers put up, such as budget cuts or travel freezes.

Advice to Management

Simplification efforts are great. Focus a little more on removing the internal barriers erected around cost control. Being leaner in that level of control will pay for itself.

Don't push out top talent because it makes a layoff easier. Long-term product health depends on the expertise developed over time.
