I worked with an awesome team that provided me with many challenging tasks, which gave me a lot of work experience.
At the time I was there, GE Transportation's business was the slowest it had been in years. Because of this, there were no direct hire positions available, which left everyone who didn't make it into rotational programs without job offers.
Still very good experience though.
Some interns get terrible assignments, but that's just how it is. Work can be slow at times.
It had fewer technical questions than character-based questions. It felt much more like a conversation than an interview. The interviewer was very attentive, and the overall experience was very pleasant.
