Too many layers. No promoting up through the ranks. HR has too much control, and nepotism runs rampant in certain ethnic groups.
You have plenty of ex-military running this company. You didn't have dotted-line managers in the service, and you didn't lead battalions with leaders who hadn't served in those companies, so why do it here?
