Flexible Pto, Shifting Priorities
Unlimited permissive time off - as long as the job is done and the direct manager is good with it, you can take time off whenever needed. Very flexible. Ease of ability to move within the company… varied ways to get into new areas.
Currently, the business is going through a transition, and the Power business will split into a separate company in 2024. Lots of unknowns create constant change in priorities from high level that trickle down. Raises have been minimal.

General Electric Interview Experiences
Test Engineer
There were three rounds: Group discussion, technical interview, and HR. Make sure you make valid points in the GD session. Basic electrical questions were asked. If you clear the technical round, the HR round isn't really difficult.
Test Engineer
The process was quick and the recruiter was attentive prior to my interview. After the interview, I never heard back from the recruiter after my multiple attempts to get feedback. I am somewhat disappointed with the process.

Got a recruiter followed by four rounds of interviews. Explained to the recruiter the tools that I worked on. This was followed by an initial screening round with one person where they asked about Linux processes and Jenkins flow.
