I interviewed on campus after applying through my school's online application program. The interview was structured around the STAR process. The interviewer was professional and very passionate about GM. GM also held a study break on campus that was very well done.

Decent do-workers.
Cons: Still clinging onto the O.B.N.
Promotions based on "who you know" rather than formal credentials.
Some of the ethical challenges seem to have carried over from the "old" GM.

Pros: GM provides a good salary and benefits to both salary and hourly employees. The company is still large enough to be a major producer of vehicles.
Cons: The UAW rules that have been established over the years now put the company at a competitive disadvantage. Toyota continues to get better, even though GM has closed the gap in quality. There is still bureaucracy in management and the UAW, which eliminates the possibility to make quick decisions, thus leaving GM behind the competition or being threatened by strikes by the UAW.
