Process

  1. Online HireVue behavioral interview

    • 4-5 behavioral questions with the option to redo each question once.
    • Three game-based IQ tests where you basically just click shapes/do math.
  2. Coding challenge

    • Two LeetCode easy-medium problems with 30 minutes to complete each.
  3. Phone screen

    • Overview of benefits, pay range, opportunity to ask questions, next steps, why do you want to work here?
  4. Skype interview

    • Two, back-to-back, one-hour each interviews. More behavioral questions and may touch on some technical aspects of your experience.

Questions

Tell me about a time when you volunteered to do extra work on a project.

Tell me about a time when you had to work really hard to accomplish something. I got this question asked twice, worded differently, on HireVue and again on Skype.

Why do you want to work at GM? This was the only important question I got on the phone screen.
